Every year, Utah Business Magazine honors the HR professionals who are working hard to foster culture, growth, and happiness in the workplace through its annual HR Achievement Awards. “These professionals have gone beyond the call of duty to make their companies a great place to work and their dedication to their jobs is something inspirational for all,” said Kelsie Foreman, senior editor of Utah Business Magazine.

This year, Emily Woll, COO at Osmond Marketing, was selected for her ability to innovate and elevate the human experience factor. Human resources is more than just managing the people of your company. It’s about managing the experience employees have at work,” says Lindsay Bicknell, Utah Business project coordinator.

“There are many traditions and legacy practices in human resources and talent acquisitions, and I’d like to see a deeper scientific scrutiny of these practices that either validate or invalidate them,” Emily says. “What should be known today should be challenged tomorrow with hard questions and studies.”

Emily says she is most proud of her employees. “They make us who Osmond Marketing is, and they make us successful. Our clients come to us by word of mouth, and it’s because of the good work they do.”

Emily was recently honored at an awards luncheon hosted by Utah Business Magazine. Published in Utah Business
